A Fitting Occasion

It's that time of year again when I get to make teacher thank you gifts.  I will really miss this when my kids are out of school -  I only have 4 years left to enjoy it.  I may have to thank a teacher anyway!  Any takers out there? *Ü*

These were fun to make for one of Nicholas' male teachers.  I folded index cards in half for the card base and rounded the corners.  They fit perfectly in our 3 x 3 square envelopes.  I decorated the envelopes with a little piece of Storytime Designer Series Paper and put them into a clear box.  It will have a gift card in it also.

Cardstock:  Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Whisper White, Storytime Designer Series Paper

Stamp Set: A Fitting Occasion, Itty Bitty Banners

Riverton Regional Make n Take

I finally finished one of the make n takes from the Regional seminar.  I didn't have the Framelit they used for the back, so I improvised with the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I love the simplicity of this card yet it has quite a bit going on!

Speaking of going on, are you remembering that you only have a couple of weeks left to get our favorites before they are gone?  The catalog is almost over and the discontinued lists have been announced.  Get them before they are gone...

Promotions and Mother's Day

Here are a few of the gifts that went out this month for my first level promotions in my Inking Everything group. I love taking an item they can use and dress it up a bit.

Congratulations ladies!  Hope you enjoy your diamonds or pearls.

Mother's Day was awesome.  My boys all make sure the day is special.  I've needed a new camera for a long time - I've noticed my photos just aren't as clear and crisp as they used to be.  Sure enough...somebody was listening to me. *Ü*
This was the last photo with my Canon Power Shot.  Good bye forever and welcome my new favorite thing!

I'm going to have to take a week off of blogging just to learn all the things this one can do.  Actually it isn't the learning that is the problem, it's the remembering! {Snort}

Each of the boys always gives me their own bouquet of flowers.  I just love that!  And look at the difference in picture quality with my new camera!!!

And my baby girl in the backyard on one of the mega zoom settings.  She was f-a-r- away!  She's no longer graying in the face, she's just white now.  Her's gettin' old.

    Team Tuesday

I'm back with another Team Tuesday feature...

Today I'd like to introduce you to Evette De La Mora from Visalia, California.  She has been a demonstrator on my team for about a year and a half and has a brand new blog, D'Amore de Stamping.

I tease Evette that she is an overachiever.  She can't just create one thing, she creates the most amazing ensembles.  Be sure to check them out!

    Riverton Regional

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Riverton, Utah Regional Seminar at the Stampin' Up! headquarters. What an amazing experience!

The make-n-take table were set up in the beautiful atrium.

This is Shelli Gardner the co-founder of Stampin' Up!  See why I love my job...we are all a little off! *Ü* Yes, of course there is a story behind this photo!

My dear friend Lorri Heiling was there, look at this adorable picnic basket she gave me.

Complete with a 3 x 3 card 'sandwich' and potato chips!  Isn't it adorable!!!!!

I was excited to have 16 of my Inking Everything team members there!  This is Missy Hall from Portland, OR with me.

Missy's beautiful swap card and paper bag envelope. She cut the bottom off a lunch bag, crimped the end and it was perfect size for a card.  Clever!!

The dream team from the Everett, WA area, Carla Blake and Krista Murphy

Left to right, Debbie Gregerson, Jennifer Valk, Carla, Krista, Jennifer Thomas & her downline  Delaney and Penny Smiley

Carlene Eshelman, Denise Nielsen, Helen Allen, Mary Jane Bryant, Sherri Battazzo and Missy Hall.

Some of the swap cards from my team.
What an awesome day it was even if we didn't get home till 1:30 am!
    Thank you Stampin' Up!

    Natalie's Baby Shower

This past weekend I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for our niece Natalie.  It's the first baby in the family since I had mine AND it's a girl so it was super fun to do something pink!!

It was a Big Fat Greek Baby Shower.  Natalie is a teacher, so I went with a little chalkboard and little pink & purple and lots of adorable baby shoes.

I made the Invitation, Thank You Notes, Dear Baby card and the food signs in My Digital Studio.

The thank you note was 3 1/2 x 5 fold over card size.

The shower was held at her mom's home (my sister in law)...we used the pool table for the food and sorry the lights were a little glaring for photographing.

    Center of the food table.

Lots of yummy foods!. The best part of course! *Ü*

Each centerpiece was a baby onsie with a tutu and matching shoes.  I put them on a jewelry stand and stuffed them with tissue to make a little tummy.

One of the activities was to make a baby headband.  I put them together in kits and everyone made a headband for the baby.  She ended up with about 25 darling headbands...that baby better LOVE headbands!  I made the elastics in different sizes so hopefully she will have plenty for a couple of years.

One of her gifts was a nice chair from YiaYia...she will definitely need that!

Everyone filled this out for her and boy, was that fun to see the variety of names and well wishes for her baby.  This was a 5x7 single sided card.

Not a great photo of the favors, but these are miniature containers of baby wipes.

Just 3" tall and about 2" wide with a keychain on them!  Adorable!!
